And really, why wouldn’t it be! There are so many elements that go into a wedding, it’s not that far-fetched to end up realising two days before your big day you forgot all about the wedding cake.

I want to help alleviate that nagging doubt in the back of your mind, so I have created this wedding planning checklist.

Now, before you open this checklist, I will let you know up-front, there are 168 items. That’s a lot of wedding elements to be faced with.

Please don’t think you need to include everything on this checklist in order to have a wonderful wedding. I’ll let you in on a secret… In my own wedding, I only included 67 items on this list (and many of those items were included in the venue hire)!

This checklist is designed to help you decide what you do and what you don’t want in your own wedding- with the added peace of mind that you are not forgetting anything. I encourage you to delete and even add elements that are going to make your wedding unique.

One last thing, if you are planning a fully self-catered and/or remote wedding, this checklist does not include power generators, mobile fridges, permits/licences etc.).
